Best Odoo Power BI Connectors in 2026: Features, Pricing, and How to Choose

Introduction

Short answer: You have five solid options in 2026, from about $77 to $399. They all move Odoo data into Power BI. Start with your Odoo version and where Odoo is hosted, because that alone will cross some of them off your list.

Odoo doesn’t have a Power BI connector of its own. If you want your sales, stock, or accounting numbers in Power BI, you’ll need an app for it.

Search the Odoo App Store and you’ll see why picking one is hard. The names are nearly the same, the screenshots look alike, and every listing promises “seamless integration.” The details that actually matter are further down the page, where most people stop reading.

So we read them for you. We went through five connectors on 19 October 2026 and put the differences side by side. One of them is ours, and we’ve been upfront about where it falls short too.

Why Odoo needs a Power BI connector

Short answer: Without a connector, someone has to export Odoo data by hand and load it into Power BI. It’s slow, it breaks easily, and the numbers are out of date almost as soon as they land.”

Odoo’s built-in reports are fine for checking today’s orders or stock. But if your management team already lives in Power BI, they want Odoo data there, next to everything else.

Without a connector, that usually looks like this:

  • Export a list from Odoo to CSV or Excel
  • Fix the columns so Power BI reads them properly
  • Upload or refresh the file in Power BI
  • Do it all again tomorrow, or whenever someone asks for fresh numbers

It eats up hours every week. One renamed field breaks the report. And the dashboard is only as current as the last time someone remembered to export. A connector takes that job off your plate and sends the data on a schedule.

What to look for before you buy

Short answer: Check two things first: your Odoo version and where Odoo is hosted. If an app fails either one, nothing else on the listing matters. After that, compare how the sync works, what extras you get, and how long support lasts.”

1. Odoo version

This sounds obvious, but it’s easy to miss. If you’re on Odoo 16 and the app only supports 19, you can’t use it without upgrading first.

2. Hosting: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, or on-premise

If you’re on Odoo Online, the SaaS version, be careful. It doesn’t let you install most third-party apps, and that includes most Power BI connectors. They usually need Odoo.sh or your own server. Check this before you pay, not after.

3. How the data gets to Power BI

Most connectors send data on a timer, using Odoo’s scheduled jobs. A few also give you a link you can plug into Power BI Desktop. Ask how often the sync can run, because that decides how fresh your dashboards will be.

4. Incremental sync

This means only new or changed records get sent, not the whole table every time. It won’t matter much in month one. It matters a lot once you have a few years of orders and invoices.

5. Extras you’ll actually use

Some apps show Power BI reports inside Odoo. Some handle table relationships. Some work with Microsoft Fabric. All useful, but only pay for what your team will really use.

6. Support and updates

You’ll have to register an app in Microsoft Azure during setup, and it’s the fiddliest part of the whole setup. Support ranges from 90 days to lifetime updates, so it’s worth checking.

Each connector reviewed

Short answer: Go with Zehntech if you run more than one Odoo database, echoBitz if you want Power BI reports inside Odoo, Speeduplight if budget comes first, Weblytic Labs if you need incremental sync, and Webkul if you’re on an older Odoo version.

1. Zehntech Odoo Power BI Connector

This is ours. It lets you create Power BI workspaces and datasets from inside Odoo with one click, then send data from any Odoo model. You can filter which records go across and set the whole thing to run on a schedule. It also connects several Odoo databases to one Power BI setup, which is handy if each company or region runs its own instance.

  • Good for: multi-database setups, Odoo 16 to 19, scheduled publishing, and lifetime updates. Also a good fit if you think you’ll want custom features later.
  • Where it falls short: it doesn’t work on Odoo Online, and it doesn’t do incremental sync yet. You’ll also need a developer to install a few Python libraries. If incremental sync matters to you, our team can build it in.

2. echoBitz Advanced Power BI Integration

echoBitz is built around bringing Power BI back into Odoo. You can embed live Power BI reports and dashboards right inside Odoo screens and filter them there.

  • Good for: teams who don’t want to switch between Odoo and Power BI all day, Microsoft Fabric users, and anyone who wants a full year of free support.
  • Where it falls short: it’s the second most expensive option here.

3. Speeduplight Power BI Connector

The cheapest of the five, and it doesn’t skimp much. You still get workspaces, datasets, report import, and Microsoft Fabric support. There’s also a Test Connection button, which saves time when you’re fighting with Azure credentials.

  • Good for: Odoo 19 users who want to keep costs down.
  • Where it falls short: it only lists Odoo 19, and free support ends after 90 days.

4. Weblytic Labs Odoo PowerBI Connector

Weblytic Labs is the one to look at if your tables are big. Its incremental sync only sends what’s new or changed. It also gives you a URL for Power BI Desktop and already supports Odoo 20.

  • Good for: large datasets, and companies already moving to Odoo 20.
  • Where it falls short: it needs several other Odoo apps installed, including Inventory, Sales, Website, eCommerce, and Invoicing. If you don’t use all of those, check first.

5. Webkul Odoo Power BI Connector

Webkul has been around the longest and supports the widest range of Odoo versions. It handles table relationships, Fabric KQL databases, and per-user report access.

  • Good for: companies still on Odoo 14 or 15, and teams who need linked tables in their Power BI model.
  • Where it falls short: at $399, it costs more than three times most of the others. It doesn’t run on Odoo Online, and its own FAQ says it can’t update records already in Power BI, only add new ones.

Can you get real-time Odoo data in Power BI?

Short answer: Close, but not truly live. These connectors send data on a schedule, so your dashboards are as fresh as your last sync. Run it more often and the data gets fresher.

All five connectors here work the same basic way. A scheduled job in Odoo pushes data to Power BI, or you trigger it by hand. You choose how often: every hour, once a night, whatever suits you.

Three things decide how up to date your dashboards really are:

  • How often the sync runs. More often means fresher data, but also more load on your Odoo server.
  • How much data you send. A full sales table takes longer than just today’s changes. This is where incremental sync earns its keep.
  • Power BI’s own refresh. Once the data arrives, some reports still need to refresh before they show it.

A good rule of thumb: sync each report as often as people actually look at it. If you really need minute-by-minute numbers, raise it with the vendor before you buy.

How to set up an Odoo Power BI connector

Short answer: Register an app in Microsoft Azure, install the connector in Odoo, connect the two, pick the data you want, and set a sync schedule. Five steps, whichever app you choose.

Every connector has its own screens, but the steps are basically the same:

  1. Register an app in Azure. In the Azure portal, open App Registrations and create a new app. Copy the Tenant ID and Client ID, then create a Client Secret. Save that secret somewhere safe, because Azure only shows it once.
  2. Install the connector. Add the module to your Odoo.sh or on-premise Odoo. If the vendor lists Python libraries, install those too.
  3. Connect Odoo and Power BI. Paste your Azure details into the connector settings and sign in with your Power BI account.
  4. Pick your data. Create a workspace and dataset, then choose the Odoo models and fields you need, like sales orders or invoices. Add a filter if you only want some of the records.
  5. Set the schedule. Choose how often the data should sync, then start building reports in Power BI.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Odoo Power BI connector?

There is no single best one. Speeduplight is the cheapest for Odoo 19, Weblytic Labs offers incremental sync, echoBitz is strongest at embedding reports in Odoo, Webkul covers the oldest versions, and Zehntech suits multi-instance setups.

Does Odoo have a built-in Power BI connector?

No. Odoo doesn’t ship a native Power BI connector, so you need a third-party app from the Odoo App Store or a vendor’s own store.

How much does an Odoo Power BI connector cost?

As of October 2026, the five connectors compared here cost between $76.96 and $399 as a one-time purchase for the Odoo 19 version.

Can I use a Power BI connector on Odoo Online?

Usually not. Odoo Online limits third-party apps, and connectors such as Zehntech’s and Webkul’s need Odoo.sh or an on-premise install. Check with the vendor before buying.

Do I need a Microsoft Azure account?

Yes. These connectors need an app registered in Microsoft Azure to get a Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret, plus a Power BI account with API access.

Can I connect Odoo Community to Power BI?

Yes. Zehntech, echoBitz, and Speeduplight all list Odoo Community support, as long as you host it on-premise or on Odoo.sh.
