A European automobile spare parts manufacturer and retailer was using Odoo to manage their business operations, but they needed additional modules to complete their product lifecycle management process. They wanted to hire an Odoo expert to help them identify the missing pieces and customize, integrate, and maintain the Odoo system to efficiently manage their end-to-end business operations, including product lifecycle mapping, inventory management, order management, invoicing, and MIS.

Business Challenge

Our client encountered multiple operational challenges within their current Odoo system. These issues included an inefficient reporting system, missing essential Odoo modules and a lack of synchronization among various Odoo modules. They sought a customized solution to address these problems and facilitate effortless product configuration, personalized reporting capabilities, and seamless integration throughout their operations. Additionally, the client expressed a desire for custom settings to enhance the efficiency of their sales and purchase operations.

Customized Reports

The team used Odoo’s built-in report generator to create custom reports and they also developed custom report templates with XML using Odoo framework tailored to the client’s specific needs.

Report Synchronization

The team used Odoo’s scheduler to automate the synchronization of reports across various business operations. They also developed custom workflows to ensure that reports use real time insights and were generated and distributed to the appropriate stakeholders on a timely basis to support their decision making.

Product Importing

The team used Odoo’s built-in import tool to import product data from the client’s existing Excel sheet. In addition, they implemented validation checks to ensure the accuracy of the imported data.

Product Life Cycle Mapping

The team audited the client’s existing system to identify the missing modules that needed to be integrated to map and manage the product life cycle more effectively and accurately. They then integrated modules for Product Management, Inventory management, Sales and Purchase. They also customized some of these modules to meet the client’s specific business needs.

Order Management and Invoicing

The team integrated the Odoo Sales and Invoicing modules to streamline the order management process. In addition, they implemented workflows to track and manage orders from start to finish.

Sales and purchase module customization

The team customized the modules of the client’s existing Odoo Sale and Purchase system to ensure accurate flow of data and information according to their industry standards.

Consulting Services
